Results: 0-1 Sq. Epith./lpf || Greater than 100 WBC's/hpf || Numerous gram negative coccobacilli || Numerous gram positive cocci in chains
Note: This slide has sheets of Polys when viewed under LPF. The lack of squamous epithelial cells indicates this is an adequate specimen. Look carefully at the background material stained pink (gram negative). The gram negative coccobacilli are numerous and not nearly as fat as coliforms would be. In this case one should consider Haemophilus species.
