Open Java Preferences from Applications > Utilities
Select the Run applets: Within the browser process radio button. Verify the most current version of Java is checked on. Click on the Network tab to configure the cache settings. |

Check the Keep temporary files for fast access: checkbox.
Set the amount of disk space for storing temp files to 50 MB. Click on the Delete Files... button to clear the storage cache. Close the Java Preferences window set the configuration. |
